Top: Vivienne Westwood

Pants: ICONS – “Objects of Devotion” Resurrected in Los Angeles – my top five favorite pants!

I also love this mechanic jumpsuit by the same designer.

Shoes: Dr. Martens – “Jadon” 8 Eye Boot

I’ve always loved and worn Dr. Martens but these with the platform sole are wicked!

Handbag: Phillip Lim

This top, pant, and shoes have been my ‘go to’ pieces this fall. You all probably know I’m a feign for denim shirts, jackets, and jumpers so when I tried this on at the Vivienne Westwood store on Melrose Ave. I had to have it – lol! The tailoring on this denim shirt is super feminine and the I like that they chose to do it in dark blue denim. This shirt can also be worn open as a jacket which made me love it eeeeven more because versatility is key! The pant worn in this post is a deconstructed, remixed, tailored vintage military pant that I purchased from Barney’s but you could easily make these yourself. Get a pair of military pants from the army surplus or second hand store and tailor these yourself or take them to your neighborhood tailor. The great thing about these pants is that they are baggy in the leg with a fitted high-waist, so you get both sexy feminine and tomboy all in one pant. I wear this pant paired with tees, tanks, and denim shirts in the fall with boots (as shown in this post) and in the summer with sandals (see below).

One of my first loves is and will always be Vintage clothing! I love mixing and trying different fashion styles… but sometimes I simply appreciate being a woman.

Here’s a fun way to rock something sheer and unique!

This vintage 1940s/1950s lingerie slip dress has femininity written all over it! I love the color, the fabric, the gathering , the sheerness, and the movement of this dress. I decided to pair it with Levi’s denim cut-off shorts, a teal floral bra (Forever21), and gold sandal heels (Zara) – to match my gold picnic basket handbag, also vintage 😉 .

Here are a couple of my favorite online vintage stores, but make sure to check out the lingerie section of your neighborhood Goodwill and secondhand stores (ie. Crossroads Trading, Buffalo Exchange, Out of the Closet, etc.) for your very own unique vintage slip gown! You’ll be surprised the treasures you’ll find!
